CIRCUITS

is based on the pure physical energy and movement of breathing created by
circular singing – pitched singing on the in-breath and out-breath, and by the natural rhythm of breathing in and out.  It is inspired by Joan La Barbara’s seminal work Circular Song.  The sound material for the tape is pre-recorded and sampled tracks of La Barbara’s voice. 
Circuits is dedicated to Joan La Barbara.
